About the TCC Hogs

The TCC HOGS Volleyball Club is a thriving friendly local league level club. It was formed in 1995 and has teams (Mens, ladies and Mixed) in the local Surrey league.

Players of all standards are welcome, though to gain the most from the normal club nights it is desirable that players have some proficiency.

Standard club nights are Sunday evenings 19:00 to 21:00, with many players often going on to a local public house afterwards.

Home matches are normally be played from 17:00 to 19:00 (Sept to March) with training continuing afterwards. See Time and Venue for more information.

Message from the Chairman

Welcome to the TCC Hogs Volleyball Club Website. We hope you find this website interesting and useful. Any feedback and suggestions will be very welcome, especially as this is primarily a site for the Members of the Club.

Last season provided us with many good matches and some excellent results. The First Team - Teddinton Carpet Burners managed to stay up in Division 1. Both the second team - Teddington Carpet Shag Piles and the third team -Teddington Carpet Remnants achieved promotion by coming up runners up in their divisions. The seconds were offered promotion to Division 1 and the thirds were promoted to Division 2.

With the allocation of players and the officials commitments it was decided that there couldn't be two teams in one Division. So for the first year, we have submitted a team to the Berkshire League Division 1. To keep the Shag Piles Company, the Ladies have also opted for the Berkshire league as the Surrey Ladies Division now only contains three teams.
